1-1-11

This New Years was a time that I will never forget because of how overwhelmingly blessed I was.  I had the privilege to photograph a couple named Ashley and Adam Murray.  Ashley is my boyfriends cousin and Adam has practically been a part of their family for a while.  This couple had been dating for a total of eight years and decided to go on ahead and tie the knot!  The wedding was held in Columbia in a church right down the road from where they live.  This part of Columbia is considered the country, which has some amazing vintage spots for anyone who likes that kind of style.  I loved being able to take pictures where there was a ton of open space around me to work with!  Their whole family is extremely kind, always going out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable.  It’s always extremely relaxing every time I have the chance to visit with Lee.  God has outstandingly overwhelmed me by providing me with jobs to have practice and experience with photography.  And I am extremely thankful!  So here are a couple pictures of Ashley that we took before the wedding. Hope you enjoy :)

Break

It’s been an amazing Christmas break.  Horseback riding, skiing in the Appalachian Mountains, photographing an amazing wedding, getting a lot of  snow making school delayed a week, and being able to chill.  I love it, but I can’t wait to get back to a normal schedule.  Here’s some good music; thought I’d share :)  I don’t have much more to say today!

He is your peace

“I long to give you rest for your soul and peace in your heart.  I know sometimes it looks like life has no peace to offer-just one bit problem after another.  It’s true that the world is filled with hatred, envy, and every sort of evil, so please don’t be looking for peace in people or attempting to position yourself where there are no problems.  The kind of peace the world tries to offer is built on false hope and man-made idols that will eventually crumble.  The peace I give you will transcend any trial or tribulation that comes against you because it is supernatural.  So position yourself completely in My care, and let go of all those things you cannot control.  Then you will find true peace.  In the middle of chaos and  confusion, I will always be your safe place-a place of peace.  I’m asking you, My princess, to share with others the peace I give freely to you.

Love,

Your King and your Perfect Peace”
